The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Myrtle Gilliam can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I used to work with sweet Miss Myrtle at Daniels, Uselton and Clay a long time ago when they were still across the street from Juniors in Rockwood. I always thought so highly of her and really hate to hear this. I am just now finding out about it as I am not on Facebook much and I live back in Knoxville. I don't know if her family will see this or not since it's been a little while but I just wanted to tell them how highly she was thought of. She was always the same every single time you saw her.....very sweet and smiling every time!! I didn't know she had been sick. I am glad she is no longer suffering and is up there smiling again....she's smiling FOREVER now!!! Praise the Lord!

Condolence: Kenny, Missy, and Jennifer,
I am so sorry for your loss. Myrtle was such a sweet and kind hearted lady. I will always remember something she said to me after Beth and I were married. She came up to me and gave me a hug and said welcome to our family and said she was happy that Beth had found a good guy. I won't be able to come tomorrow since I am watching the boys while Beth attends, but I want you all to know that I love you all and that my prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Ps 73:26 " My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
