Obituary for Pauline Meeks Moore

Pauline (Meeks) Moore, age 86, of Erwin, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Hermitage Healthcare in Elizabethton. A native of Erwin, Pauline is a daughter of the late J. B. and Mattie (Woodly) Meeks. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Kingston. Pauline loved to take care of people and enjoyed cooking and making Christmas candy. In addition to her parents, Pauline is preceded in death her husband, George Washington Moore, three brothers and four sisters.

The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Pauline (Meeks) Moore in a funeral service to be held at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. Pastor Ben Moore will officiate. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 and will continue until the hour of service at Valley Funeral Home. Fraker Funeral Home of Kingston will be conducting the graveside service at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Bethel-Fairview Cemetery in Kingston with Rev. Adrian Jones officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Childhood Autism Foundation, 1551 Shoup Court, Decatur, GA 30033.
